TRAVELING - Obviously traveling in UK isn't the same as traveling in India. No buses covered in
vomit. No life risking driving on streets which aren't worth the name. One could even say it
isn't an experience at all, because it appears to be riskless.
Nevertheless it is fun, although there are not that many destinations to travel to in the UK.
A really good thing, what I liked a lot, is that the university itself organises a lot of
daytrips to various cities. I used this possibility sometimes and I have to say, unlike you
would expect it, the buses aren't that much better than deluxe buses in India ;).
However, for the prices offered one can't complain at all as everything works and there were no
bad surprises in between. The daytrips were very popular amongst the international students,
thus you always have to buy the tickets in advance.
Nonetheless the Isle of Wight is still my favourite destination in the UK, which might probably
be due to the lovely hospitality I enjoyed over there again and again ;). People who use Google
