TRAVELING - Fortunately I had always the saturday off during my internship. This I could travel
a lot and I think I made the best out of my weekends. I was almost every second or third weekend
somewhere else. Traveling through India isn't as dangerous as many people think. To discover the
beautiful countryside and explore hidden secrets of this mysterious country is absolutely
fascinating and besides this a lot of fun.
Always equipped with our travel-bible - the Lonely Planet - my friends and I traveled to almost
all interesting places which were close to Chandigarh. Pictures of my trips are in the
pictures section. Over christmas and new year we had the chance to go Goa for two weeks. Goa is
a tropical paradise in the middle of India at the arabic sea. We've spent two wonderful weeks
there and enjoyed ourselves a lot.
After my traineeship was over I wnet to the east of India for three weeks. In the beginning it
was quite strange as it was the first time I traveled on my own. Anyway, after getting used to
it, it was great. I went on a trek through the Himalaya, which was awesome. I saw the
Khangchendzonga which is the third-highest mountain on earth.
