SHEFFIELD - The city where I lived tends to be UK's cheapest, greenest and safest bigger city. Whereas I wouldn't use the word cheap in relation with UK - let's say it is more or less affordable. However the nightlife is pretty interesting and reasonable during the week.

Unlike most of UK's terrain Sheffield is really steep and you can have a tough exercise just by walking to the university of the city center. The city center is already 'the sightseeing adventure' in Sheffield apart from UK's biggest artificial outdoor ski area. It might not be a city for tourists or sightseeing, but nevertheless it is a very good city to live in as the student culture is - due to the number of students - really diversified.

With it's two football clubs it is typical british, although I think the fourth biggest city in UK should have at least one stable team in the first league.Anyway, I liked living in Sheffield. If you have the chance to visit it, do so and you'll find some good pubs over there ;).
