STUDIES - There's not much to say about my studies. I studied computer science at the Dresden University of
Technology. It's a very ambitious faculty with some good professors. Unfortunately and
'surprisingly' the subject is really as boring as most people think. However, not everything is
absolutely bad.
An annoying fact about our faculty is that at least 99,9 % percent
of the people there are male. Thus the women quota is unbeatable low. And - above all - plenty of
these 'women' are - let's say - strange looking. Maybe it was helpful to concentrate on your
studies - I don't know.
Apart from the mentioned disadvantages studying computer science had some opportunities I
completely used. The university has relationships with many other universities from other
countries. This fact enabled me to do all the traveling which will be described later in the other
sections.
