AIESEC - This student organisation seems to always be a part of my life. In Brazil I met them
by coincidence. In one of my first lectures in university the professor introduced me as a new
foreigner at the university. I couldn't have chosen my seat better, because just next to me sat
the president of AIESEC Itajubá.
At first he tried to explain me AIESEC, but after I told him about my experiences with AIESEC I
was more than welcome to help him and the other members as they were just setting up a new
local committee. I tried to bring in a lot of my experience and I hope I made a bit of an
impact.
Once again I met a lot of interesting people while working for AIESEC and many of them became
good friends. I was even chosen the organise the trip of our LC to the national conference,
which was quite difficult with my limited knowledge of portuguese.
