TRAVELING - Not only did I travel in Brazil but in some other countries in South America, too.
I saw the east and the west coast of South America, the atlantic and the pacific ocean. Three
months I had after my semester in Itajubá and I can say I more than used them. It was an
adventure from the beginning to the end. Pictures can be seen here.
The most amazing thing was definitely Fernando de Noronha, an island 500 km off the northeast
coast of Brazil. I spent almost one week there and it is one of my personal paradieses.
Besides this island there were more incredible good places like the Pantanal, which is a huge
swamp with a diversified wildlife.
Apart from these two highlights I experienced the Brazilian carnival which is just crazy, but
crazy in a good way - a very good way. I loved it! Huge Metropoles like Rio de Janeiro or Sao
Paulo were other remarkable highlights on my trip. Not to forget Machu Picchu in Peru or Lake
Titicaca in Bolivia.
After all I have to say, that the three months I traveled through South America were absolutely
marvelous and I would not like to miss even a second of it. People who use Google Earth can see
