AIESEC - After knowing I was definitely going to Sheffield, I had a look on the internet
whether AIESEC ( the student exchange organisation which I was with in India ) is operating in
the UK or in particular in Sheffield, too. Fortunately AIESEC existed at the University of
Sheffield and hence I had to contact them. My experience with AIESEC in India was just too good
to miss this opportunity over there.
I never regretted to contact them as it turned out to be a really good decision. From the
beginning on I made very good friends, which is always helpful, to settle in a new environment.
As usual AIESEC stands for international culture, fun, parties and more or less weird dances.
Besides the fun part these guys did an incredible job with organising the exchanges and the
fund raising. I even got my own AIESEC membership category! I was an official half alumni half
member - haha. Once again, I can only say - if you have the chance to get into AIESEC - use it!
